Joshua Spacek is a figurative painter based in the South of France. After careers as a professional musician and chef, he came to painting as a third practice — a new language learned through the répétition and exploration of gestures. Working primarily in oil, pigment stick and acrylic on varied supports, his work explores the relationships Between nature, self-realisation and the human experience.
